The Mystery of Banksy

He is world-famous and yet remains a mystery—Banksy, the Bristol-born graffiti artist and painter who remains anonymous to this day, known for challenging the boundaries of the art market and causing a sensation with his work for years.

Putting together an exhibition like this is no easy feat. Oliver Forster (COFO Entertainment), the well-known musical producer and exhibition curator from Passau, took on this challenge. “We want to turn art into an experience—visible to everyone and brought together in one place.”

Banksy is first and foremost a street artist known for the graffiti he has created all over the world. In addition, he began selling original, signed artworks and limited-edition prints quite early on. Most of these are in private collections and are therefore not accessible to the public. “With THE MISTERY OF BANKSY – A Genius Mind, we are now using faithful reproductions to showcase the best and most impressive motifs

"to make it possible to experience this in a single location and in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the museum, yet still with high standards of quality," said producer Oliver Forster
