Vincent van Gogh’s unique worlds of color and imagery will then be displayed in oversized, immersive projections throughout the rooms of the former thermal power plant. Twenty-four state-of-the-art laser projectors will project van Gogh’s works—from *The Potato Eaters* to *Sunflowers* and *The Starry Night*—in high resolution onto the walls and ceiling, which are up to eight meters high, as well as onto the floor of the hall. Get closer than ever to the famous painter’s works, the vibrant colors, the expressive painting style, and the powerful brushstrokes. Music specially arranged and composed for the occasion accompanies the visual experience.

The approximately 35-minute immersive art installation was created by Gianfranco Iannuzzi, Renato Gatto, and Massimiliano Siccardi (music coordination by Luca Longobardi), who have been inspiring audiences around the world with their works. The “Van Gogh Experience” is their fifth work in Leipzig.
