The influence of Blue

Wie gestaltet sich eine Welt ohne die Farbe Blau? Wie würde sich die Gesellschaft verändern? Guilo Ravizza, Autor des Phantastik-Romans „The Influence of Blue“ (2020), nimmt uns mit in die Zukunft, zu einer Gesellschaft, in der die Farbe Blau eliminiert wurde, um Kriege und Aggressionen vorzubeugen. Nur der Protagonist entdeckt in investigativer Weise eine kleine Oase in Konstantinopel in der das Blau noch existiert und steht vor einer großen Entscheidung. Soll er das Leben mit Blau wieder herstellen?

Basierend auf dem Fantasy-Roman “The Influence of Blue” hat Franz Fischnaller ein 22-minütiges immersives Video mit Musik von Rupert Huber geschaffen. Das Kunstkraftwerk präsentiert ein Novum: In der begehbaren “Möbius Immersive Book Box” mit 7.1.4 Surround-Sound-Format können die BesucherInnen Immersion in einem neuen Format noch intensiver erleben.

Die immersive Installation ist Teil des Möbius-Projekts und wird von der EU finanziert.

The influence of Blue

What would a world be like without the colour blue? How would society change? Guilo Ravizza, author of the fantasy novel “The Influence of Blue” (2020), takes us into the future, to a society in which the colour blue has been eliminated to prevent wars and aggression. Only the protagonist investigatively discovers a small oasis in Constantinople where the colour blue still exists and is faced with a big decision. Should he restore life with blue?

Based on the fantasy novel “The Influence of Blue”, Franz Fischnaller has created a 22-minute immersive video with music by Rupert Huber. The Kunstkraftwerk presents a novelty: in the walk-in ‘Möbius Immersive Book Box’ with 7.1.4 surround sound format, visitors can experience immersion even more intensively in a new format.

The immersive installation is part of the Möbius project and is funded by the EU.
